The 5th International Conference on Laser, Optics, and Optoelectronic Technology (LOPET 2025) Successfully Concludes in Xi’an

On May 24, 2025, the 5th International Conference on Laser, Optics, and Optoelectronic Technology (LOPET 2025) was successfully held in Xi’an. The conference was jointly organized by the Intelligent Photonics Laboratory of Xi’an Jiaotong University and the Xi’an Society for Laser and Infrared Technology, with co-organizational support from Shenzhen Technology University, Lanzhou University, Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Wuhan University of Technology, and the AEIC Academic Exchange Center.

The conference commenced with a welcome speech by Prof. Yue Yang from Xi’an Jiaotong University. Distinguished experts, including Prof. Zhang Chunmin (Xi’an Jiaotong University), Prof. Yue Yang (Xi’an Jiaotong University), Prof. Li Bingxiang (Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications), Prof. Xia Zhilin (Wuhan University of Technology), Prof. Xu Yingke (Zhejiang University), and Prof. Ding Liyun (Lanzhou University), delivered keynote presentations on cutting-edge research in laser technology, optical materials, sensing, and biophotonics.

Adopting a hybrid format (online and offline), the event attracted over a hundred experts and young scholars from universities and research institutions worldwide. Young researchers engaged in oral presentations and poster sessions, fostering in-depth discussions that not only enhanced academic understanding but also laid a solid foundation for future collaborations.
